Released in 2015, Baby Bump is a surreal and visually explosive Polish coming-of-age film. It is widely described by critics as a mix between the whimsy of Walt Disney and the dark, bizarre dreamscapes of David Lynch.

• The Story: The film follows 11-year-old Mickey House as he navigates the "hell of puberty". He is isolated, doesn't understand his overbearing mother, and is horrified by his rapidly changing body—specifically his ears, which he fantasizes about cutting off.

• The Vibe: It is highly experimental, blending live-action with animation and CGI to represent Mickey's internal fantasies. The film is known for its "in-your-face" style, featuring bright colors, split screens, and direct, often vulgar portrayals of physical changes.

• Accolades: The movie premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, where it received a Special Mention for the Queer Lion Award, and also screened at SXSW.
